Services for Sexual Assault Victims

Every community in Washington is served by a Community Sexual Assault Program.  These agencies serve all victims of sexual violence, as well as their friends and family members.  Each Community Sexual Assault Program provides the following services:

  • Information/Referral,
  • Crisis Intervention,
  • General, Legal, and Medical Advocacy,
  • Prevention Services.

 

Services for Domestic Violence Victims

Communities throughout Washington are served by domestic violence programs and shelters.  These programs provide free services such as:

  • Information and referral,
  • Advocacy,
  • Emergency shelter,
  • Transitional housing,
  • Support groups,
  • Legal advocacy, and
  • Crisis Services.

 

Services for Stalking Victims

Domestic Violence and Community Sexual Assault Programs can both provide services to stalking victims in Washington.  These programs can provide support, crisis intervention, and advocacy services, and:

  • Sample logs to keep track of the stalker’s behavior,
  • Technology safety tips and materials, and
  • Legal resources.
